It's time for the 2025 review. Well, after 6 years of using the app and it remains exceptional and improves with every update. All that remains is for Samsung to accept to use it without having to confirm with the physical remote control.

Why would I pay $60 a year to use a remote on my phone when I can buy a universal remote? Anything to nickle and some us. Sad.

Fine. Can't argue with results, it works as a TV remote. Turning the volume up 2 notches, getting an ad, changing the channel and getting an ad is a bit of a joke though EDIT: Dropped to 1 star from 3. I don't mind adverts. I don't mind paid features - but I just fired up the app to turn the TV off and apparently turning it off is now a premium feature. When I'm trapped under a sleeping baby and the noise is distracting or I need to take a call or whatever, I need this feature. Uninstalling...
