Is it really impossible to make it possible to turn the BASS BOOST OFF for good? I have Charge 3, and it's terribly heavy on the bass. It can be nicely fixed by holding together "vol-" and "bluetooth" buttons for 10 sec, but it needs to be performed EVERY TIME I turn the speaker on. It's hard to overemphasize how much I'd appreciate if the bass boost remained off until reenabled by myself, by holding those buttons or maybe you could add a corresponding toggle into this app, too 🙏

With or without the new design, the app is pathetic. It's the worst example of what a web-app can be like. 1) It does not work without obligatory location access. 2) It never saves any info and has to recognize speakers from scratch upon every launch. The recognition process itself is highly unreliable. 3) Setting changes may take multiple tries before they actually work. Conclusion: JBL, investigate the way companion apps by Samsung, Microsoft, Bose, Bowers & Wilkins etc. are made.

Well i thought that the last gen speaker will show the battery level up in the status bar, but it does not for some reason. Appears that in order to check battery level remotely you should download this garbage app. Beside poor functionality it doesn't show battery in percents, doesn't have widgets, nothing to make user experience comfortable. Just make it's product worse with no clear reason.
