When this game launch it was a lot of fun and was a great alternative to vampire survivors (a much superior game in every way). Unfortunately, after they updated the graphics and added the survival mode they also made if pay to win. It's impossible to progress without either paying out of pocket to get fries (one of several currencies, why???) Or watch literally 100s of ads to get enough to actually progress. I'm not even going to get into the audacity to attempt to offer a subscription service.

Amazing game turned terrible for the sake of selling you microtransactions. There's a premium version where you only pay a small amount upfront (like 5 bucks), but it'll save you tons in the long run (either in terms of time or money dumped into microtransactions). Feel free to play this version to see if you like the game, but if you do, I highly suggest buying the premium version instead of grinding or wasting money on this version.

The game itself is good. The gameplay is engaging and the game loop isn't actively frustrating. There are two major problems that hold it back though, first of all the amount of ads that are needed for more items, more in-game cash, revives, etc. which wouldn't be that bad, most free mobile games have loads of ads so it's fair enough. The problems start to arise though when you're in the actual ads, sometimes the ads just straight up break and you are forced to close the game, this stops rewards
